Parks Pass

The Tasmanian Parks & Wildlife Service requires that visitors obtain a Parks Pass when visiting Tasmania’s National Parks. All proceeds go back into preserving our world-class wilderness for future generations.

As we are located inside the National Park, you will need a Parks Pass when staying with us.

From the Pumphouse Point reception on arrival.
At the Cynthia Bay Visitor Centre, just a few minutes from Pumphouse Point (map).
Pre-purchase online before arrival.

Passes are $24.00 (per vehicle) and are valid for your entire stay, no matter the duration.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The PWS is celebrating 100 years of national parks in Tasmania throughout 2016. To encourage Tasmanians to visit and reconnect with their national park, visitors will be granted FREE ENTRY TO ALL TASMANIAN NATIONAL PARKS on:

24 September to 9 October 2016 – September school holiday period (Tasmania)

This means that patrons will not be required to have a valid national parks pass when visiting any of the 19 national parks during the free entry period.
