The Shorehouse

THE SMELL OF ROASTING, A CRACKLING FIRE, LAUGHTER… WELCOME HOME.

Located on the lake’s edge, this original Hydro substation presents a classic art-deco style, complete with original exterior and magnificent foyer stairwell. The Shorehouse is the heart of Pumphouse Point, home to our atmospheric dining room and lounge. On the floors above are peaceful rooms with lake and bushland views, accessible only by stairs (no elevator).

STANDARD ROOMS (NO VIEW)

These two rooms do NOT have a lake view, instead facing inland towards the bushland and reception cottage. Accordingly, these are our lowest priced rooms. However, the postcard views from the Lounge are just a few steps away, making these rooms exceptional value within World Heritage Wilderness.
