Join us in the Shorehouse each night for a shared-table dining experience. We have no pretentions to fine dining – instead it’s all about meeting other travellers over a dinner prepared from premium local produce and served on platters for each table to enjoy together. Our two course set menu is $50 per head and changes daily. A dining experience is better when shared (except for dessert, don’t ever share dessert).
FROM THE LARDER
Each room has a larder filled with tempting food and beverages for you to purchase during your stay. Enjoy local cheeses, cured meats, hearty soups and much more – it’s like a deli in your room! With whites, reds, bubbles, beers and our island’s famous cider, you need only journey six steps from your couch to toast out the day.
Help yourself to breakfast each morning in the Shorehouse, included in your nightly room rate. Cook your eggs to perfection, build your ideal toastie with local ham and cheese, indulge in homemade baked beans or for a lighter option, fill a bowl with granola, fruit and fresh yoghurt.
HOT CRUSTY BREAD
There are few more hunger-inducing smells than fresh crusty bread. We’ll have a loaf delivered to your room at any time of day – just call reception, place your order and the smell (and bread) will arrive in 20mins. The perfect addition to your picnic or platter and a match made in heaven for the soup in your larder.
There are two bars at Pumphouse Point… but no bar staff. As you grab another organic cider or pour a dram of whisky, simply record your purchase on the bar list provided. You are left free to sample the wine list at your own pace… and there’s nobody to tip.
